Celek knows how rivalries work and he is getting this one kicked off nicely for Thanksgiving. Here is what he had to say about the Cowboys:
"“We take on a little bit of what the fans feel,” Celek said yesterday. “If a fans dislike a team, we dislike a team. We’re all in this thing together. I don’t like Dallas. I’m excited to play this game.” – CSN Philly"
He doesn’t like Dallas… mainly because he is not allowed to like them. That is what it is all about. He knows the pulse of the fans and will play off of that emotion.
The Eagles and the Cowboys will face off on Thanksgiving day with first place in the NFC East on the line. Both teams are sitting with an 8-3 record at the top of the NFC East. The game will have huge playoff implications in it. There are a number of teams that are fighting for playoffs in the NFC and the winner will have an advantage in the final leg of the season.
