There are a plethora of phenomenal football players in the NFL. Every year new talented players come in and post eye-opening statistics, but what are rare in the NFL are true leaders. Undisputed team leaders are incredibly hard to come by because a player has to fit many descriptions to be considered one.
A true leader dominates on the field, doesn’t cause disruptions in the locker room and plays the biggest for their team when the game is one the line. These are the players that the team turns to when it faces adversity on the field and off. These players are the best at what they do and they do it in the most professional of ways.
We chose the 25 players from around the league that best fit the above descriptions. These 25 players are all essentially team captains and Pro Bowl caliber talents that more often than not lead their teams to victory. These are the types of players that have the factor that coaches can’t teach. Some call that ‘x-factor’ heart, will or just the unparalleled drive to succeed. We’ll just call it the ‘leadership-factor.’ These 25 players have that and are using it in 2014.
