San Francisco 49ers @ Oakland Raiders

Justin Tuck thinks this game will be a bloodbath, and I agree. I think it will be a very physical game that could be surprisingly close. This is San Francisco’s chance to get their offense going. The Rams put up 52 against this Raiders team. They are simply terrible. The 49ers need their offense to get back on track, otherwise they will have no chance for a late playoff push. I don’t think this game will be as much of a blowout as many think. I think Oakland will stick around for a bit, but ultimately the 49ers will pull out the win.

Winner:San Francisco 49ers

New England Patriots @ San Diego Chargers

I am surprised at how many people have picked this game to be a very close game. Many people seem to have forgotten, that prior to their close loss to the Packers the Patriots were blowing out division leader after division leader. A lot of those games were at home, but they also crushed the Colts on the road. Losing at Lambeau by a small margin, doesn’t suddenly mean this team isn’t as good as they were before that game. Phillip Rivers is a great quarterback, but he isn’t as good as Tom Brady and the Patriots Defense  is also better than the San Diego Chargers Defense. I think the Patriots will take care of business and stay ahead of the Denver Broncos in the AFC playoff race.

Winner: New England Patriots

Atlanta Falcons @ Green Bay Packers

The Atlanta Falcons finally beat a team that is not from their own division. In this game they will attempt to get their first road win outside of their division.I don’t think that is going to happen though. The Packers are a force at home and will dominate the Atlanta Falcons. The Falcons defense will be ripped apart by Eddie Lacy and Aaron Rodgers. I think we will see a Monday night blowout, and Packers will stay the top team in the NFC. This is a very important game for the Falcons though, because if they don’t win they will very likely drop out of first place. I hope the Falcons can put up a fight on Monday night, but I don’t see it happening. The Packers are one of the best two teams in the NFL right and will rip right through the Falcons.
