Washington Redskins (3-11)
The Redskins have never been afraid of pulling the trigger on a big name. The situation at quarterback has been horrid in Washington. Robert Griffin III was supposed to be leading this team for years and years to come, but he has been ineffective. He started in 7 games this season and the team went 1-6 in those starts. The 1 win came when Griffin had to leave early with an injury. He only threw 3 passes in that game. In his 7 games this season he has only 3 touchdown passes and none rushing. He also has thrown 3 interceptions and has been sacked 28 times.
Kirk Cousins was going to be the guy to run the team if Griffin were to fail, but he has taken the backseat to Colt McCoy. McCoy won his first 2 starts this season, but has lost his last 3 games and is finishing the season on IR. The team could roll with McCoy as the starter. He was solid in his appearance this season and gave the team the best chance to win. In his 5 games this season he threw for 1057 yards and 4 touchdowns with 3 interceptions.
Would the team consider Cutler to add to this mix? They would have to get rid of Griffin somehow.
