Wide Receivers to Ride With:

Julian Edelman & Brandon LaFell, @NYJ-  It sounds like a broken record by now, but I’ll say it anyway. The Jets are terrible against the pass. Edelman was going through the concussion protocol after last Sundays game against Miami but he has practiced on both Wedneasday and Thursday. LaFell suffered a shoulder injury but practiced on Wednesday although he was limited. If they aren’t healthy enough to go then they  won’t. I bet they both play and they’ll do just fine in New York.

Jeremy Maclin, @Was- If Sanchez is having a good game, then Maclin is sure to. He is the best wide out on the the roster. We all know Maclin’s pedigree. We also all know how bad Washington is in the secondary. Chip Kelly is going to have some fun this Sunday. Jordan Matthews could sneak in a good performance as well this week.

Donte Moncrief, @Dal- T.Y. Hilton is battling a hamstring injury was not at the beginning of practice on Thursday. If T.Y. goes I think it’ll be in the realm of a decoy. He won’t be 100%. This leaves some room open, finally I might add for Moncrief to step into a bigger role. He is the next fastest guy on the team behind Hilton and some around the team have said Moncrief is actually faster. Still, he will have to run some clean routes but could have a super game for your super Sunday.

Harry Douglas, @NO- Julio Jones is not doing so well. That’s good news if you own Douglas, not if you own Jones. He and Roddy White did not practice on Thursday. Even if they both suit up on Sunday in New Orleans, Douglas has been putting in all the time. He’s obviously more attractive if Jones sits out, but even if he doesn’t I think he does something here.

Kenny Stills, vsAtl- This is the sort of match up where he can really exploit the defense. Of course I say this and he will probably flounder. He’s my replacement for Brandon Marshall in a few leagues so I’m going with him.

Wide Receiver to Die With:

Eric Decker, vsNE- Even if the Patriots put Darrell Revis on Percy Harvin, Decker will see Brandon Browner. Decker probably had his last 100 yard game of the season last week. The Jets fans are all a buzz about some mischief and somehow I think this game will get lost among the shuffle of poor players for New York and resting players for New England. It difficult to see Decker getting anything going this week.

Larry Fitzgerlad, vsSea- There isn’t a single player on the Cardinals (besides the defense) that I would play this week in fantasy. Not only in the offense struggling, they’ve really don’t have quarterback. It was funny a few weeks ago but this is some serious stuff. Pretty soon you’re going to see L-Fitz under center if they keep dropping the way that they do. Bruce Arians can try and sell Arizona as a Super Bowl contender no matter who’s under center, but I’m not sold for my championship.

Alshon Jeffrey, vsDet- He managed to get a touchdown throw from Jay Cutler last week on Monday night but it appeared this Bears offense is lost at best. Now, the Bears want to make a change at the helm. Jimmy Clausen, former top draft pick of the Carolina Panthers will attempt to not look as bad as Cutler in the offense. I think he does worse. That’s just me. Tough for Jeffrey to be reliable when the guy tossing the rocks isn’t.
