29. player. 50. . Cornerback. Washington. Marcus Peters

Dan: The Lions did little to stop their opponents from passing up and down the field in 2014. Adding young blood at cornerback will spark a unit devoid of playmaking ability. Peters will be on the field week one making stops.

A.J. Cann. 30. player. 45. . Guard. South Carolina

Dan: Peyton Manning can overcome almost everything, but when he’s pressured to move in the pocket he cracks. Manning can’t scramble, so the Broncos need to add depth on the offensive line to protect him into retirement. Cann is a solid pick in the late first round and a top prospect at guard.

. Wide Receiver. Stanford. Ty Montgomery. 31. player. 36

Todd: While running back is an option here because of the uncertain future surrounding Marshawn Lynch, Seattle just needs weapons on offense to support Russell Wilson. The best bet here is wide receiver Ty Montgomery. Although his college season hasn’t gone as well as hoped, Montgomery has good size and great athleticism. He also can return kicks to add another element to this team.

. Defensive End. Florida State. Mario Edwards Jr.. 32. player. 47

Todd: Defensive line is not a pressing need for New England. However, Edwards matches his impressive stature with a good size-speed combination and versatility fitting of the Patriots organization. The only thing that wasn’t up to snuff was his season production. Expect good workouts and combines to elevate his status into first-round territory.

That concludes the first 2015 NFL Mock Draft tag-team. Expect an update once a champion is crowned and free-agents hit the market.
