14. Sen’Derrick Marks, DT, Jacksonville Jaguars

Dec 18, 2014; Jacksonville, FL, USA; Jacksonville Jaguars defensive tackle Sen

Marks has had a solid year for the Jaguars. He’s been a disruptive force in the middle of that defense. Jacksonville is a team that doesn’t get much national publicity, and I fear that many voters didn’t know about Marks until the last play of the Thursday night game against Tennessee. He’s recorded 8.5 sacks, which is an excellent number for a defensive lineman. In fact, that number is good enough for second in the NFL among defensive linemen, behind Buffalo’s Marcell Dareus (10).

"“You play for your team, you play for your guys, but an individual goal is to make it to that point. You hang your hat on that – if I have a great season I’ll be credited with a Pro Bowl. Well now, it’s something I won’t hang my hat on anymore. I’ll continue to play the way I’ve been playing. I just won’t hang my hat on anymore.” –Sen’Derrick Marks"

The other defensive tackles to make the Pro Bowl are Dareus, Aaron Donald, Gerald McCoy, Dontari Poe, Ndamukong Suh, and Kyle Williams. Unless Detroit makes the Super Bowl or one of these players gets hurt, so it’s unlikely we’ll see Marks in Arizona in late January.
