4. Tony Romo, Dallas Cowboys

Those jokes about Romo not being a clutch quarterback aren’t funny anymore. The “December woes” for Romo and the Cowboys are no more. Romo was the best quarterback in football in the month of December, posting a 145.3 passer rating with ten touchdowns and no picks. Those are insane numbers. More importantly, Dallas went 4-0 this month and won the NFC East.

Romo doesn’t have much playoff experience, especially considering his age, and has only won one playoff game in his career, but this Dallas team isn’t the same as previous teams that have made the playoffs with Romo. The Cowboys have the best offensive line in football, a revitalized defense, and statistically, the best rusher in the NFL. Oh, and Dez Bryant. Romo has plenty of weapons, and he should be fun to watch in the postseason.

3. Tom Brady, New England Patriots

While Brady hasn’t had success in ten years in terms of winning the Super Bowl, he’s won at least one playoff game for the last three seasons. Broncos at Patriots in the AFC Championship game may happen again. “Brady vs. Manning” may decide it. Brady is one of the most successful quarterbacks in NFL playoff history, and he should at least make it back to the AFC Championship game. Brady’s been having an excellent season; he’s a dark horse MVP candidate.
