2. Peyton Manning, Denver Broncos

Manning is declining, right? The Broncos should start Brock Osweiler, right? I think many people who work for mainstream media outlets overreact based on one or two games. Manning is still a top three quarterback in football. Everyone goes through a slump at some point, and fortunately for Manning and co., they get a bye week before the divisional round to get healthy.

Denver is arguably more balanced on offense and defense than it was last year. It’s Super Bowl victory or bust this year for Denver, and I’m sure Manning is up to the task.

1. Aaron Rodgers, Green Bay Packers

Rodgers on one leg is better than 90 percent of NFL quarterbacks. Despite being hurt for basically the entire game, he still managed to lead the Packers to an NFC North title and a first round bye. He’s the best quarterback in the universe right now. If he’s fully healthy by the time the divisional round comes around, look out. Either Rodgers or J.J. Watt should be the MVP, and I highly doubt a defensive end will win it, although he is very deserving. With that said, if Rodgers wins the MVP, it’ll be an award well-deserved.
