The Super Bowl is being played in dome. Why is that important? Well, here are Aaron Rodgers’ numbers for the last three playoff games combined he has played in a dome (2009 at Arizona, 2010 at Atlanta, and in Super Bowl XLV at Jerryworld): 83 completions on 117 attempts, 1,092 yards, 10 touchdowns, and just one interception. That equates to a 70.9 completion percentage and a passer rating of 125.0. Needless to say, those numbers are unheard of. The point is that Rodgers has been unstoppable in domes in the postseason, and that should continue of the Packers make it this far.

New England’s offense had a bit of trouble, especially in the fourth quarter, against the Packers’ defense. Green Bay’s offense, on the other hand, moved the ball exceptionally well but settled for field goals. Green Bay’s offense may have to punch the ball in for touchdowns to win, as the defense may not be able to hold the Pats’ offense to only 21 points again.

With that said, I’m picking the first seed in the AFC to lose the Super Bowl to a team that isn’t the first seed in the NFC for the second straight year. Super Bowl XLIX Champion: Green Bay Packers.
