Like Collins, Wagner is also extremely athletic and also very physical. Ever since Wagner was drafted, he has been a key component to the best defense in the NFL. Wagner missed five games due to injury this year and the team was clearly weakened by the loss of him, as they were 9-2 with him and 3-2 without him. Wilson and Wagner both highlight the Seahawks 2012 draft class, which was one of the best of any team ever.

Wagner plays extremely intelligent and seems to always be able to read the offensive play correctly. He is still only 24 years old and is already one of the best few middle linebackers in the NFL. He is a little bit undersized for a middle linebacker, but he makes up for that with speed and toughness. He is the leader of this elite run defense and will probably be that leader for many years to come, assuming that the Seahawks are able to keep him.
