T.J. Clemmings. 25. player. 87.
With Melvin Gordon still on the board, it was hard for me to chose an offensive tackle for the Carolina Panthers. However, once I reassured myself that the offensive line for the Panthers is in disarray, my decision became a bit easier.

Still, despite the struggles on the line, the Panthers found their way to the postseason. But that wasn’t at a price. Throughout the season quarterback Cam Newton would constantly find himself under pressure, taking hit after hit. If the Panthers have any sort of hope for Cam’s future they will go out and find him the protection needed.

While T.J. Clemmings needs to continue to develop as a pass protecter, being he is the best available at the position, Carolina will be forced to make this selection solely off of need. Once the second round comes along, some higher teams such as Jacksonville or Washington will be looking for help on the line.
. Offensive Tackle. Pittsburgh

Wisconsin. Melvin Gordon. 26. player. 26.
Instead of slating Melvin Gordon to the Panthers, he will become the newest member of the Baltimore Ravens.

After losing Ray Rice, the Ravens hit on the free agent signing of Justin Forsett. Forsett ran for over 1,000 yards, earning a spot in the Pro Bowl. He was the catalyst of the Ravens offense last season. Unfortunately, he is a free agent. But more realistically, this was his first 1,000 yard in his sixth season in the NFL.

I’m not ruling out resigning him. Baltimore should give him a chance, however, if he doesn’t repeat his success, they will have another running back ready to take over. And hey, if Forsett can repeat his success then that would be great because they would be able to spell him out with Melvin Gordon.

Having a two-headed rushing attack is something that Baltimore would cherish, as it would take tremendous pressure off of Joe Flacco, while giving them the potential of having one of the strongest running back tandems in the AFC.
.
