Nov 29, 2014; Louisville, KY, USA; Louisville Cardinals wide receiver Kai De La Cruz (12) catches a pass under the pressure of Kentucky Wildcats defensive end Alvin Dupree (2) during the second half at Papa John

42.
For three straight years we saw the San Francisco 49ers make it to the NFC Championship (Super Bowl in 2013). This year was a bit different as they missed out on the playoffs, finishing third in their division. In order for the San Francisco 49ers to get back to where they were the last three seasons, it is imperative that they address their pass rush in the draft.

Let’s face it, with Ray McDonald off the team, Justin Smith entering his 15th season and Aldon Smith’s continuous off-field issues, the 49ers will be looking to groom their next pass rushing specialist.

Dupree finished his senior season with the Kentucky Wildcats as one of their top performers. He recorded 7.5 sacks and returned an interception for a touchdown. He is incredibly quick off the line and has very long arms.

Head coach Mark Stoops said Dupree is on pace to graduate with a degree in Community and Leadership Development; hoping he would be a bit more disciplined than McDonald and Smith.
. 10.
The Houston Texans are arguably a quarterback away from reaching the playoffs. Unfortunately, picking at 16 will not get them a highly rated quarterback.

With stability at each skilled position, the Texans can afford to draft the appropriate protection piece first, making it much easier for them once they find the right signal caller.

One of the best offensive tackles remaining is Brandon Scherff. Scherff could use a bit more practice with protecting the passer, but with proper coaching and repetition, there is no reason to believe he cannot improve. Where he does fit best, however, is in the running game. He is an excellent run blocker which will bode well for Arian Foster.

Due to the holes left on the offensive line, Scherff can also play inside at guard if needed.
. Offensive Tackle. Iowa. Brandon Scherff. 16. player
