Offensive Linemen: Bryan Bulaga, Mike Iupati, Orlando Franklin, Rodney Hudson, Doug Free

It’s never exciting to choose five linemen out of a pool of free agents, but these are the five guys I’d take. Above, the linemen are organized from left to right as they would be on a real offensive line: tackle, guard, center, guard, tackle. The three interior guys are actually all guards, but when injuries occur, guards shift to play center all the time – I’d imagine it’s not too difficult.

Bulaga has done a solid job protecting Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers’ blind side since he was drafted in 2010. Iupati has dealt with some injuries but has been a key cog in San Francisco’s offensive line. After reluctantly playing guard this season, Franklin was Denver’s best offensive linemen in 2014. Hudson has anchored Jamaal Charles and Kansas City’s run game, while Free revitalized his career with Dallas – he was a key member in what was considered the best offensive line in football last year.

There aren’t many offensive lines in the league I’d take over this one. After watching guys like Tyler Polumbus and Chris Chester this past year, I’d watch these five linemen in a heartbeat.
