Quarterback: Jake Locker

As mentioned before, there is at least one weak spot on this offensive roster. Quarterback is definitely one. Locker has all the physical tools to be a top-shelf quarterback, but injuries coupled with a general lack of talent around him have all but pushed him out of Tennessee. The Titans will end up with Marcus Mariota or Jameis Winston in the draft; Locker is on his way out.

As stated earlier, Locker has all the assets to become a solid starting NFL quarterback. His career has been one of the more unfortunate ones this side of 2010. Call him injury prone all you want, but he will produce when healthy and when surrounded by elite talent. The receivers he’ll have here are beyond elite (on the next slide).

With that said, just in case, I’ll take Ryan Mallett as my backup quarterback. He won’t be counted in the 11 starting players, obviously, but I would keep him on my bench in case Locker happens to get hurt. Locker and Mallett are better options than other free agent quarterbacks such as Brian Hoyer, Matt Moore, Christian Ponder, and Michael Vick.
