DeMarco Murray, Running Back

Obviously DeMarco Murray would make the Indianapolis Colts offense even better, but he would cost a lot of money. Despite the money that it would take to sign him, the Colts could certainly use a workhorse like Murray to help take the pressure off of Andrew Luck and the passing game.

The Colts haven’t had a legitimate rushing game since Edgerrin James left, and Murray would be a huge upgrade from the Trent Richards and Dan “Boom” Herron duo that the Colts used this past year.

During the 2014 season with the Dallas Cowboys, Murray ended up carrying the football 392 times for 1,845 yards and 13 touchdowns. He may be asking for too rich of a deal that the Colts can’t give him, but Grigson has always found ways to make big deals when he wants to. Murray would make the Colts’ offense nearly impossible to stop, and would immediately make them legitimate Super Bowl contenders.

Don’t be surprised to see the Colts mentioned in rumors surrounding Murray. There are plenty of teams out there that would love to sign Murray, but the Colts are by far the best landing spot for him.
