Which five teams desperately need to make an effort to sign free agent running back DeMarco Murray this coming offseason?
The Dallas Cowboys are coming off of one of the best seasons in recent history, and DeMarco Murray was a big part of their success. Unfortunately for Jerry Jones and company, Murray is entering free agency and the Cowboys simply cannot afford to re-sign him and star wide receiver Dez Bryant long-term.

Murray ended up carrying the football 392 times for 1,845 yards and 13 touchdowns during the 2014 regular season.
Those numbers show just how good Murray is when he can stay out of injury trouble, and he is ready to cash in coming off of that type of season. Plenty of teams have a need at the running back position, but there are some in particular that are desperate for a major upgrade. Whether their offense desperately needs the boost of a running game or it would make them unstoppable, Murray would be the ideal answer for multiple difference teams.
At 27 years of age, there are still a few good seasons left of football left in him. He was run hard this past year, but he is more than capable of stepping into another season with a lot of usage in 2015.
