10. Matt Flynn, Green Bay Packers

The Green Bay Packers saw how important Aaron Rodgers was in 2013 when he went down with a broken collarbone, but Matt Flynn was able to step up in a big way and kept the Packers in playoff contention. Rodgers was much healthier this season, and Flynn didn’t see all that much playing time.

Despite the fact that he didn’t play too much, he is still the tenth best quarterback available. He has stepped up in key situations with the Packers, and shown that he is capable of being a quality backup.

As far as being a starting quarterback, that isn’t something that Flynn should be signed for. He is a very solid spot starter when injuries force the starter to sit out, but he isn’t the type of guy that can start each and every week on a team that wants to make the playoffs.

Flynn is a high quality backup, and will likely be a player that quite a few different teams consider. It will be interesting to see where he ends up when everything is said and done. Wherever he goes, he’ll need to find a team that runs a similar type of system to what he was in with Green Bay.
