10. Roy Helu, Washington Redskins

Roy Helu may not be a very hyped up name in free agency, but he is an extremely solid running back that will help whoever decides to sign him. He hasn’t been given the chance at a big role behind Alfred Morris with the Washington Redskins, but he is more than capable of shouldering a much larger bulk of the load.

During the 2014 season, Helu ended up picking up 216 yards and a touchdown on the 40 carries that he was given. Those numbers round out to 5.4 yards per carry, which is more than serviceable. Helu also caught 42 passes for 477 yards and two touchdowns, which is an area that he is extremely dangerous.

There are plenty of teams that could use a better third-down running back, but there are also teams that would prefer to use a dual back system.

Any team that decides to give Helu a chance at an extended role is not going to be disappointed. He has the ability to be a game-changer when he’s on the field, and his new team will need to find a way to get the football into his hands much more than the Redskins did in 2014.
