Bryce Petty. 2. player. 32. After the way that the Arizona Cardinals played down the stretch of the season without either Carson Palmer or Drew Stanton, it is obvious that they need to draft a quarterback. Bryce Petty is a very intriguing possibility out of Baylor, and he would be a very intriguing fit for the Cardinals. <div class=. QB. Baylor Bears

Last season in his senior year at Baylor, Petty ended up throwing for 3,855 yards, 29 touchdowns, and seven interceptions. He had an even better year as a junior in 2013, totaling 4,200 yards, 32 touchdowns, and only three interceptions. His numbers from the past two seasons show that he is a very capable draft prospect.

Arizona would be wise to draft their quarterback fairly early on in this draft. Even though Palmer will be back on the field to start the 2014 season, he doesn’t have too many years left in his career.

Petty could end up being their starting quarterback in a couple of seasons, which wouldn’t be a bad thing if he lives up to his full potential.
