Randall Cobb, Wide Receiver

The Carolina Panthers desperately need to bring in more help at the wide receiver position, and Randall Cobb would be a perfect fit alongside of Kelvin Benjamin. It isn’t expected that Cobb will choose to leave the Green Bay Packers, but the Panthers would be wise to give it a shot and give him an offer that would tempt him.

During the 2014 season, Cobb ended up racking up 1,287 yards and 12 touchdowns on 91 receptions. At 24 years old, Cobb still has a ton of football left in him and more potential to grow into.

Benjamin is more of a deep threat, while Cobb is a jack of all trades type of receiver. He can beat his opponent deep, but he also has the ability to make plays over the middle. Green Bay also used him as a running back in some sets this past season.

If they were able to sign Cobb, their offense would take a major jump in 2015. They will have to make a very lucrative offer for Cobb to even consider leaving, and if they get the chance to make that offer they need to take advantage of the opportunity.
