Which five teams make the most sense for Adrian Peterson if the Minnesota Vikings do decide to trade him?

Adrian Peterson is one of the hottest names in the NFL with the offseason getting underway, and there is a chance that the NFL’s best running back could be on the move.

More from NFL

Last season was an absolute nightmare for Peterson and the Minnesota Vikings, and he ended up playing in just one game due to a suspension. He was accused of child abuse after pictures came out of cuts on his son due to Peterson spanking him with a switch. That is a serious issue, but the NFL continued to keep Peterson suspended even when the situation was figured out and dropped off-the-field.

He will be back on the field next season barring any major surprises, but there is a good chance that he doesn’t want to play with the Vikings again. Peterson feels betrayed by the franchise because of the way that they worked with the NFL to suspend him indefinitely.

There have already been rumors starting about the Vikings possibly trading Peterson, and there are plenty of teams that would be very interested in making something happen. Peterson could fit in with whoever decides to make the move for him, but it will all depend on what Minnesota decides to do. They want to keep Peterson, but if he doesn’t want to play for them then they are put in a very difficult position.

All of that being said, which five teams make the most sense for Peterson if the Vikings do end up putting him on the trade block?
