player. 51.
For the past two year’s I have pleaded the St. Louis Rams to draft a wide receiver in the first round. Each year I am disappointed as they will either trade the selection or go in a different direction. However, with the recent success of first round receivers, you have to think maybe this is the year my wish will be granted.

The Rams have avery good defense. That is not a question. Their problem comes on the offensive side of the ball as St. Louis doesn’t have enough weapons to counter Sam Bradford continuous fight with injuries.

As far as receivers go, Kenny Britt recorded his first 700 yard season in four years; Chris Givens is okay and Brian Quick is coming off a season ending injury. Stedman Bailey and Tavon Austin are very quick and elusive; however, they lack the size of a true number one receiver.

Kevin White has made his case for the number one receiver in this year’s draft. To me, it’s a 1A,1B situation. He fits the mold of an elite prospect and has the ideal size the Rams are currently lacking. He has extremely reliable hands and has a knack for getting separation from the cornerback.

He would be a solid addition to the Rams sometimes stagnant offense.
. Wide Receiver. West Virginia. Kevin White. 10
