La'el Collins. 17. player. 13.
In 2014, San Diego Chargers quarterback Philip Rivers had one of the best seasons of his career. His 31 touchdown passes was his third most of his career, and at the age of 33, Rivers has shown no signs of slowing down.

With his age increasing, it is important the Chargers continue to make sure he is hit as little as possible. Last year, Rivers was sacked 36 times, which was more than what San Diego is comfortable with. They need skilled players, but they also need to make sure their franchise quarterback is healthy.

La’el Collins is an interesting prospect. He isn’t going to play left tackle, but he can move around on the right side, playing either guard or tackle.

Collins is working on his pass blocking skills and could develop into a nice rounded player in the NFL. Drafting him in the first round will help solidify the Chargers offense line.
. Offensive Tackle. Louisiana State
