player. 36.
After another impressive Super Bowl run, the Seattle Seahawks are on the verge of calling themselves a dynasty. They came just a few yards shy from winning their second straight Super Bowl, before a bad call from head coach Pete Carroll led to a turnover and a loss.

Attempting to reach history came at a price, though, as three out of the four starters in the secondary suffered injuries. Backup Jeremy Lane also fell to injury. The lone survivor from the postseason, Byron Maxwell, is a free agent and might not return next season.

If Maxwell does find himself with another team next season, the Seahawks will need to address the cornerback position early.

Jalen Collins fits Seattle’s mold.

During his junior season, Collins showed flashes of great speed and physical play. At six feet two inches tall, Collins has the prototypical size commanded from a physical cornerback.

He would be a nice addition to the best secondary in the NFL. Plus, due to the success of the secondary, the Seahawks could take their time and work his way into the system.
. Cornerback. Louisiana State. Jalen Collins. 31
