The Atlanta Falcons will be relieved to have moved on from a disappointing 6-10 season in 2014. Even then, a victory over the Carolina Panthers in week 17 would have earned them a home playoff game.

They can’t bank on the NFC South being so poor next year, so the Falcons need to make the right moves in the offseason. The Dirty Birds have shown they can play offense. Defense is the major issue.
In 2014, the Falcons had finished eighth in total offense and fifth in passing offense. They need to improve their run game, which ranked 24th in the league. Even so, they have a strong offense led by a talented quarterback in Matt Ryan.
The defensive numbers aren’t so pretty. Atlanta ranked dead last in total defense and pass defense, while finishing 21st in stopping the run.
From those statistics alone, it’s pretty clear where they need to strengthen up to have any chance of returning to the playoffs in 2015.
In this mock draft, we will look at all seven-rounds of the draft. Let’s begin…
