Throughout football history, the quarterback position has been the most celebrated and talked about to virtually no end. Manning v. Brady, Elway v. Favre, Staubach v. everybody. QBs are all that have been discussed in terms of great players, but what about those running backs? Considering the physical toll that running incurs on knees, ankles and hamstrings, the RB position should be one of the most celebrated positions in football, not one of the forgotten ones. As for running backs though, today I will be discussing the running back position of the San Diego Chargers and the top 10 backs in Charger history based on legacy, statistics and overall performance. There may be some surprising selections on this list, but for the most part, these picks are fairly justified.
