Arizona Cardinals

One team that should strongly consider a deal with Tim Tebow is the Arizona Cardinals, who had major quarterback injury problems last season. He would give them another solid backup quarterback that has shown in the past can handle big situations late in the season.

Tebow would immediately be plugged into the third quarterback role that Ryan Lindley occupied last season, and it would be a very good depth pickup for the Cardinals.

Carson Palmer and Drew Stanton are an excellent starting and backup combination, but things can happen to force both of them out as the Cardinals found out last season. Tebow has a decent arm, but he also has the ability to make plays with his legs. That would give head coach Bruce Arians a bit of comfort knowing that he has plenty of talent behind Palmer.

Arizona would be an ideal fit for Tebow, and they do have a need. That being said, they may not end up being interested in the media storm that would follow, but it wouldn’t be a bad deal for them.
