12. player. 53.
It’s hard to pass up on one of the top pass rushers in the draft. The Cleveland Browns will have a “best player available” mentality, especially since Dante Fowler Jr. will be right there for the taking. While this isn’t a major need, I’m confident in what he brings to the table the moment he arrives that makes it impactful for the Browns.

Since he loves to make big plays on defense, this is an area that the Browns want to bolster so they can stop offenses dead at their tracks. His speed and tenacity off the line of scrimmage gives him an edge that should translate well into the NFL.

Fowler is also a utility kind of athlete in that he will thrive as either a defensive end or linebacker which makes this pick all the more easier for the Browns. This is very important to allow him to be able to fill either role depending on their defensive scheming.

Make no mistake about it, Fowler has the ability to be a force to be reckoned with thanks to his big defensive presence and a knack at getting to the quarterback. His college career saw him sack the quarterback 14.5 times.
. Defensive End/Linebacker. Florida. Dante Fowler Jr.
