UCLA. Eric Kendricks. 16. player. 10.
One of the most important positions on a team to stop rushing attacks from opponents, the Houston Texans will bolster their linebacker corps by drafting Eric Kendricks. He is the perfect “sideline-to-slideline” option the Texans need to continue add more defensive talent to build around J.J. Watt.

Kendricks is an overachiever that loves to command a defense towards attacking and creating havoc. He changes direction well and has good speed to do good in man-to-man situations as he also does a terrific job against tight ends.

At 6’0″ and 232 lbs., it would be in Kendrick’s favor to bulk up and add some more weight to withstand the blows that are coming with some of the more physical offensive players he will face once he enters the NFL.

Kendricks is very intelligent and has a high football IQ which means he will adjust with the right coaches and veterans showing him the ropes. He will be a very good linebacker for years to come since he has a good character and willingness to learn.
. Inside Linebacker
