55.
The first safety taken off the board will be Landon Collins as the Pittsburgh Steelers have a knack at finding solid prospects thanks to their extensive research on potential draft picks. Collins will be given the task of eventually replacing one of the best to play at his position in Troy Polamalu.

Collins excels in stopping the run and is incredibly serious at being the best at his position. He’s quite aggressive and tough while always looking to make tackles on every given play. He knows how to break up passes well and be resilient in zone coverage.

The Steelers need to infuse some talent into their defensive secondary since Michael Mitchell didn’t live up to expectations and needs to be pushed towards improving. Drafting Collins would do that and also help groom him by putting him under the wings of Polamalu should he still be around next season.

Even if Polamalu retires or leaves the Steelers, with a high motor and signs of being a future leader on the team, Collins could very well be the successor to Polamalu and do his best to carve his own legacy into the history books.
.
