player. 36.
With the recent departure of offensive guard James Carpenter via free agency, the Seattle Seahawks will need to draft a new offensive lineman to help with the void he leaves. They will draft Cameron Erving who can step right in and bolster their offensive line.

At 6’5″ and 313 pounds, Erving excels in run blocking and creating the necessary gaps for Marshawn Lynch to continue activating “Beast Mode”. With his experience as a center as well, he could provide some nice versatility for the Seahawks as they once again do their best to make another run for a Super Bowl title.

As a developmental kind of player, should the Seahawks add another offensive lineman via free agency, Erving could learn much by developing over time as a cornerstone on their o-line as either a guard or center.

With good speed, strength and a knack for pushing defense linemen into exactly where he wants them to go, it’s a smart draft choice for the Seahawks who have an eye for finding talent that is coachable towards greatness.
. Offensive Guard/Center. FSU. Cameron Erving. 31
