23. Kabeer Gbaja-Biamila, Defensive end, 2000-2008

The player known affectionately known as “KGB” is often overlooked when talked about Green Bay’s all-time great players, but he truly was one of the greatest defenders in team history. He played all nine years of his career in Green Bay and his career numbers put him in elite territory as a Packers’ pass rusher.

Gbaja-Biamila went to just one Pro Bowl in his career, but posted four consecutive double-digit sack seasons from 2001-2004. Twice he hit the 13-sack mark and in his seven full, and healthy, seasons he averaged 10.3 sacks per season. That is an incredible amount of production and his 74.5 sacks are the most in Packers history. However, it should be mentioned that fellow defensive end great Willie Davis played in an era when sacks were not a recorded statistic.

He forced 17 fumbles in his career and recovered seven others. He also defended 11 passes and recorded one interception, an interception he ran back for a 72-yard touchdown. “KGB” definitely deserves to be remembered as an all-time Packers great because he certainly was one, although Clay Matthews is creeping up toward his all-time sack record. Even so, his legacy in Green Bay will continue to live on until the end of time.
