The Oakland Raiders came in to the 2015 NFL offseason with the second most salary cap space in the league, behind only the Jacksonville Jaguars. The Raiders won three games last season, some of them impressive victories, but it was clear that the team was lacking in talent in many areas. Many expected the Raiders to pursue big name free agents such as Ndamukong Suh or Julius Thomas but GM Reggie McKenzie has opted instead for quantity over some very expensive quality.

Any one who watched the Raiders last season will tell you that they have some talented pieces in place in QB Derek Carr and LB Khalil Mack, but they are more than one big name free agent away from contending. We will now take a look and rate some of McKenzie’s moves in what has been a very busy under the radar offseason for the Oakland Raiders.
