When any fan or expert attempts to make their version of the 2015 NFL Mock Draft, there are many different variables that come into play. Team needs, depth, and where that team is picking are just some of the factors considered when attempting to predict what each NFL team will do when their slated draft position comes up. Another obvious factor is free agency, and while we as fans get caught up on what a free agent signed to our favorite team will mean in terms of wins and losses, we sometimes can forget how those signings will potentially change our team’s draft strategy. If the Tampa Bay Buccaneers had traded for Russell Wilson, would most fans or experts still think Jameis Winston would be a lock to go there at #1?
