5. player. 56. Ladarius Gunter is one of the more intriguing late-round cornerback prospects in the 2015 NFL Draft, and the Cincinnati Bengals could be one of the teams with interest. He hasn’t shown a ton of on-field production in his two years at Miami, but he definitely has raw potential that an NFL coaching staff can work with.
During his sophomore season last year with the Hurricanes, Gunter ended up recording 28 tackles, two interceptions, and six defensed passes.

Those numbers may not look impressive, but there aren’t going to be a ton of big numbers late in the draft. At 6’1″ he is a very sizable cornerback, which is certainly an important thing to have on an NFL roster. He does have some issues in man-to-man coverage, which is why he will drop far enough for the Bengals to snag him here in the fifth round.

Despite all of the concerns, he is also a very aggressive zone cornerback and has the potential to improve his man-to-man coverage. He is a very tough player and would be a nice depth piece for the Bengals if they do decide to take him in the draft this year.
. CB. Miami Hurricanes. Ladarius Gunter
