How Adrian Peterson Would Fit

So the first question becomes, how would Adrian Peterson fit in with the Dallas Cowboys?

It is a very simple answer, and that answer is Peterson would fit perfectly behind the dominant offensive line. DeMarco Murray looked like a superstar, and Peterson is twice the running back that Murray is. That is no offense to Murray, but Peterson has been the NFL’s uncontested best running back for quite some time now.

Peterson has been putting up consistent 1,000-yard seasons outside of seasons where he has missed good chunks of time. He has also recorded double-digit touchdown totals in every season except this past year where he played in just one game due to a suspension. His numbers don’t lie, and the Cowboy’s offense would immediately take a huge step forward in 2015.

As much pressure as Murray took off of Tony Romo and the passing game, Peterson would make it even easier on his quarterback. Dallas would be very smart to go after Peterson, and the fit wouldn’t be a worry at all. Peterson would likely be able to put up the biggest statistical season of his career behind their offensive line.
