21. Andy Robustelli, DE

  • Los Angeles Rams (1051-55), New York Giants (1956-64)
  • 1951 and 1956 NFL Champion / 6-Time 1st Team All-Pro

Wherever Andy Robustelli went, he won. In each of his first seasons in Los Angeles and New York he won an NFL Championship.

Incredibly being named to the NFL’s 1st Team All-Pro six times, it’s a shame sacks weren’t recorded back in Robustelli’s day. He was one of the best pass rushers in the history of the sport.

As hard as it is to receive recognition in the sport, Robustelli took home the Bert Bell award in 1962 which is given to the league MVP in the eyes of Maxwell Club (Green Bay Packers running back Jim Taylor won the AP NFL MVP that year).

The only other two defensive players to win the Bert Bell award are Lawrence Taylor and Merlin Olsen.
