16. Jack Ham, 4-3 OLB

  • Pittsburgh Steelers (1971-82)
  • 1974, 1975, 1978 and 1979 Super Bowl Champion / 6-Time 1st Team All-Pro

Jack Ham receives the nod over Jack Lambert by a basic flip of a coin.

While Lambert was that final missing piece of the Steel Curtain puzzle, Ham was the heart and soul of the team.

Playing a 4-3 outside linebacker, Ham did it all for the Pittsburgh Steelers.

If head coach Chuck Noll needed Ham to rush the passer, he did it. If he needed him to plug the run, he did it. If he needed him to drop into coverage, he did it.

Ham finished his career with 25 sacks, 21 fumble recoveries and 32 interceptions. His interception total ranks him third all-time among linebackers.
