By Robby Sabo
11. Bob Lilly, DT
- Dallas Cowboys (1961-74)
- 1971 Super Bowl Champion / 7-Time 1st Team All-Pro
While many of the younger generation Dallas Cowboys fans could slightly remember Randy White’s dominance, the old-school guys revealed in the fact Bob Lilly was their stud.
As the leader of the 1971 Super Bowl champions, Lilly was a one-man wrecking crew for Tom Landry’s “Doomsday Defense.”
With 196 consecutive games played, there are very few Cowboys in history who are more fondly remembered. Lilly was the first Cowboy to ever be inducted in the famous Ring of Honor and is known simply as “Mr. Cowboy.”
Lilly is arguably the best defensive tackle in NFL history.
