That failed to pan out, and as a result, they now have the first pick in this year’s draft.</p> <p>With that being said, there are multiple positions that Tampa needs to fill. However, the most important one is the quarterback position, as they already have offensive weapons; plus, defensive minded head coach Lovie Smith can always maximize the defense.</p> <p>Mike Glennon and Josh McCown are the two quarterbacks on last year’s roster. As of now, it’s just Glennon. While Glennon is a formidable quarterback, he is not the future of the Buccaneers.</p> <p>This pick was originally slated to Mariota, but with Jameis Winston being a pocket-quarterback in a pro-style offense, coach Smith has displayed his interest in him and said he would not be opposed to making him their franchise quarterback.</p> <p>It’s has become an obvious selection.</p>.
