player. 53. As mentioned in the first slide of this article, the Cleveland Browns are in need of adding another legitimate starting wide receiver. Selecting Louisville wide receiver DeVante Parker makes a lot of sense for them, and he would be a number one option long-term for them as well.
During his senior season last year with the Cardinals, Parker ended up catching 43 passes for 855 yards and five touchdowns.

At 6’2″ with the speed and athleticism that Parker possesses, he is going to be a major threat for opposing defenses to go up against. He didn’t have the most impressive stats in college, but his game is expected to translate very well to the next level. Cleveland could go quite a few different ways with this pick, but Parker seems to make the most sense if they want to improve their offense.

Neither Johnny Manziel or Josh McCown is going to have any success with the way that their offense is currently constructed. Parker could be a big step in the right direction, and will likely be available when they are on the clock.
. WR. Louisville Cardinals. DeVante Parker. 1
