player. 53. There are a few needs for the Cleveland Browns defensively, and one of them is leadership at the linebacker position. They have some talent, but they don’t have a true defensive cornerstone that they need.
Miami Hurricanes linebacker Denzel Perryman would be exactly the type of piece that the Browns are currently lacking.

Perryman finished his junior season at Miami last season with 110 total tackles to go along with three forced fumbles, 2.0 sacks and an interception. Those numbers aren’t necessary spectacular, but his play will transfer well into the NFL. He is the type of enforcer that they need to lead their defense, and he has the potential to make a difference immediately.

It will be interesting to see where he ends up being drafted and what team ends up giving him the chance. He could end up going in the first round, but there is a decent chance that the Browns could snag him in the early second round.
. LB. Miami Hurricanes. Denzel Perryman. 2
