San Diego really needs to add a running back to their roster who is able to make a difference, and in my opinion, Gurley is the best RB in this draft. <p>Melvin Gordon could be selected here, but if I were the Chargers, my choice would be Gurley.</p> <p>The reason for the need at RB is the Chargers didn’t re-sign former starter Ryan Mathews, plus they were 30th in the NFL with 85.4 rushing yards per game, an average of just 3.4 yards per carry. Rushing the football like that in the AFC West or any other division won’t get you too far.</p> <p>Place Gurley at running back and improve the offensive line later in the draft, and the Chargers could be poised to dethrone the Broncos at the top of the AFC West mountain.</p> <p><a href=.
