With a player like Thompson added to their defense, the Cardinals maybe can continue to compete in a strong NFC West in ’15. <p>Thompson (6-0, 228) is the third rated outside linebacker in the draft, and should be available at this choice if the Cardinals do decide to make a selection for their defense.</p> <p>The Cards allowed 368.2 yards per game last season, and were one of five teams who has over 1,000 penalty yards defensively.
