CB. Washington. Marcus Peters. 27. player. 123. Even with the additions the Cowboys have made on their defense this offseason, it still isn’t enough. The Cowboys need to add to their defensive backfield with this selection, and Peters will be the best available at 27th overall.
At 6-0, 197 pounds, his 40-yard dash was 4.53. The Cowboys need to make improvements at cornerback with this pick, or there will be more playoff disappointment in their future. Add to that, the Cowboys defensively allowed over 355 yards per game.

The Cowboys’ defense in the second half of their Divisional Playoff loss to the Packers should be more than enough proof this team needs help in the defensive backfield, and this pick makes sense for the team at 27th ovrall.
