45. Bringing in more depth at the safety position would be a good idea for the Denver Broncos this year in the draft, and Virginia’s Anthony Harris would be a big pickup for them. It wouldn’t be surprising to see him compete for playing time immediately in his first year, and it wouldn’t be surprising to see him earn that playing time either.

Harris played an extremely dominant senior season with Virginia in 2014, recording 108 tackles, two interceptions and 10 defensed passes.

Needless to say, the tackling numbers show just how strong of a safety he is in that regard. Tackling is a major issue among quite a few defensive backs in the NFL, but Harris would have no issues. He is also a very hard hitter and is capable of making big plays in the secondary when he is in position to do so.

Denver’s secondary might not have an open spot immediately in Harris’ rookie season, but there is no doubt that he could work his way into the starting lineup. His work ethic and all-around game speaks for itself, and the Broncos could use a player like him in their secondary.
. SS. Virginia Cavaliers. Anthony Harris. 3. player
