The Indianapolis Colts have a few needs to address in the first couple of rounds of the upcoming 2015 NFL draft. Let’s focus on the offense, in particular on the offensive line.

Last year general manager Ryan Grigson spent a second-round pick (that was also the Colts’ first pick in the 2014 draft since their first-round pick had been traded to the Cleveland Browns in exchange for running back Trent Richardson) on Jack Mewhort who turned out to be a pretty good investment. Mewhort had a solid rookie season, starting every game and allowing three sacks (per Pro Football Focus). He played mostly at left guard but was moved to right tackle when necessary.

The protection of Luck’s blind side is pretty much set for 2015 with Anthony Castonzo at left tackle and sophomore Jack Mewhort at left guard. How about the other three spots?

While the center position is still a question mark I’d rather focus on the right guard and right tackle spots.

What follows is a quick review of the current Colts’ starter at both right guard and right tackle and a possible second-round candidate to upgrade the position.
