6. Julio Jones and Roddy White, Atlanta Falcons

The wide receiver duo in Atlanta has been together for four years now and it has, on occasion, looked as dangerous as many thought it would be. In 2012 both receivers topped the 1,100-receiving yard mark and combined for 17 touchdown receptions. Some injuries have gotten in the way of their shared production since then, but even so both receivers had at least 80 receptions a year ago.

Jones is poised to assert himself as one of the truly elite receivers in the game in 2015 — if he hasn’t already that is. He posted 1,593 receiving yards last year and was invited to his second Pro Bowl in his four-year career. It should be noted that the Falcons and Jones are in a contract stalemate of sorts at the moment, but this list is assuming that they come to a deal this summer.

White has been invited to four Pro Bowls in his career and at age 33, and finally healthy, is looking to regain a bit of his former dominance. It should be noted that he did haul in seven touchdowns a year ago, so it’s not like he’s ineffective on the outside.

White stands a respectable 6’1″ and has been regarded as one of the NFC South’s best athletes for years, but Jones stands an intimidating 6’4″ and can literally do everything at the receiver position. He can beat defenders deep, he can out jump them, and shake tackles with the best of them.

In 2015, it will all be about how well White can compliment his fellow receiver when defenses focus on stopping Jones. If he can produce like he has in the past this duo can once again be one of the best in the league with Matt Ryan throwing them the ball.
