31.
Jerry Reese is one of the more underrated general managers in the NFL. He knows that even though they aren’t the most talented team, the New York Giants are a still team that can make a ton of noise and it all starts with Eli Manning. Last season, the Giants got their franchise quarterback a tremendous weapon in Odell Beckham Jr. The rookie receiver was an absolute stud in his first season. To build off that, the Giants need to bring in an offensive linemen that can round out their group.

For Eli to be at his best and find his weapons in Beckham Jr. and Victor Cruz, the Giants will need good play in front of him. With guys like Will Beatty, Justin Pugh, and Weston Richburg, they have the potential to be a dominant group. Geoff Schwartz was injured in 2014, but he was great in 2013 with the Kansas City Chiefs. Despite all of this, the Giants need help in the interior of their defensive line and that’s why drafting Brandon Scherff makes the most sense.

He has the ability to play both guard and tackle, which makes him even more of a commodity with the Giants, as Beatty has been inconsistent over the course of his career. Scherff will improve the running game as well, which really has been nonexistent over the past few years. Adding Scherff would really be a safe move for the Giants.
. Offensive Guard/Tackle. Iowa.
